Our kickboxing is the Japanese style like the Glory and K1 styles. It is a mixture of Thai boxing, Karate and Boxing techniques. Unlike Muay Thai, the clinch must be active and is limited to 3-5 seconds. In addition, the use of elbows and throws is not allowed. This style of fighting has a very fast tempo, with big emphasis on movement, boxing and hard leg kicks.
Students who attend these classes should have developed a strong foundation of Kick Boxing and/or Thai Boxing (Muay Thai). Training will be of a higher intensity with a greater level of difficulty than the beginner classes, covering more advanced strategies and more complex combinations. The more advanced students may take part in sparing.
We run weekly group sessions, Monday and Wednesday 6pm-7.30pm. If you want to progress at a faster rate we can offer one2one sessions.
